The history of this farm dates to the early 70. The whole farm comprises 120 hectares of land. The production of specialty coffee arrived only and the beginning of 2000. Every cherry is carefully hand-picked and selected after being subjected to a further rigid control under ultraviolet rays. Then the coffee is stored in temperature – controlled warehouses. Today, the farm is run by sisters Maria Valéria Pereira and Maria Rogéria Pereira. They inherited the land and decided not to split but to join their forces to develop and improve processing methods and agricultural practices. With the new management techniques, the coffee is a genuine expression of the Brasilian terroir. A very clean and delicate cup, with notes of nuts. A light and pleasant acidity finishes the cup.
