Assefa is a supplier who owns the Dukamo Assefa Kerma farm, in the Bombe region. He has been working in the coffee industry for 27 years, collaborating with over 300 small holders from the city of Hemesho. Each grower produces a yearly average of 4000 kg cherries on 375 hectares of land. Bombe is named after the main mountain of the Sidama region. Thanks to his efficient business organization and a progressive approach to farming, processing, and sustainability, Assefa soon became an example for many other nearby outgrowers. This site is the result of years of hard work and improvements. The cherries grown here are highly dense and tiny, as the perfect result of a slow ripe at high altitudes (above 2100m a.s.l.). Sweet and well-balanced cup, hints of camomile, tangerine, honey.
